ABOUT
Greyton Wine Club hosts several wine tastings annually—each evening is unique, taking place in a different venue with a different vintner. You'll be guided through a tasting of six selected wines as the winemaker discusses the production process and offers tasting notes, often accompanied by amusing anecdotes. It's a casual affair, with opportunities for questions and discussion throughout. After the tasting, you can order wines for home delivery and enjoy a delicious supper featuring simple, fresh, homemade fare.
On 21 February, we welcome Remhoogte Wine Estate, a family-owned winery nestled on the southwestern slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain in Stellenbosch. Established in 1994 by the Boustred family, Remhoogte combines traditional winemaking methods with a minimalist approach, allowing their vineyards to express themselves with minimal human intervention. Their commitment to sustainability is evident, with approximately 30% of the estate dedicated to preserving the Western Cape's indigenous flora and fauna.
